Akagera National Park

Akagera National Park is in eastern Rwanda, sharing the border with Tanzania. It is characterized by woodland, swamps, low mountains, and savannah.

Akagera National Park: Home to the Big 5:
The African elephant, African buffalo, Rhinoceros, African leopard, and the lions.
It is also a home to jackals, giraffes, zebras, several antelope’s species, hippos, warthogs, the Nile crocodile…
The park has a vast lake Ihema which is home to hippos and crocodiles.
